Married 17 years in what I considered the best of situations. Two great kids, 16 & 11. Situation changed. This may sound a little suspect, but it really wasn't my fault in either the classic or contemporary sense of the word. You can either trust me implicitly or ask me for details.

I'm not looking for an instant life partner, and don't expect to for quite awhile after what I've gone through. I'm looking for companionship, laughter and a little reeducation in social engineering along the way.

Laundry list of what I like to do/what's important to me: My kids (and family in general), music, writing, reading, making videos (the process of editing into a final snapshot in time), travel(!), laughter, good food, pop culture, games/competition of any kind, work/life balance, variety, spontaneity, and living a comfortable life of moderation free of excess.

Although I'm sure I have my own custom set of "baggage" to work through, I think it's just a small carry-on bag, and all my toiletries are in a ziploc bag. I despise drama for drama's sake and have little patience for ignorance, predjudice or superficiality. I live to laugh.

I like to have several dates in one day: coffee... later, maybe a meal of some kind... later, maybe something that keeps us up, like live music or dominoes or a riveting documentary.
