My passions are about discovering new knowledge, new ideas, discussing them, arguing passionately with friends about ethical issues, trying to understand how the world works. Learning about human psychology, sexuality and communication. Making a difference in our society, reducing intolerance, working for a better planet to leave to our children. And above all, sharing intimacy, tenderness and humor with a sweet kind woman I would cherish and love, evolving together.

I love kids, and I am a certified instructor for the Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) parenting workshop. I am also currently studying in Family Life Education, in order to get professionally involved in the community and help parents with the parent-child relationship. Although I am not in a hurry till I meet the right person, one day, it is part of my dream to have or adopt kids, raise them into responsible adults and grow a tight and loved family. If you are a single mother, you have found someone who love children and will look forward to create a meaningful relationship with both of you, not only you. This is also why i am mostly looking for a certain maturity level, someone ready for meaningful relationships. I am looking for a life partner, not an activity partner.

Although I may appear soft-spoken, my most outstanding quality is the gentle yet strong way I have of making anyone at ease, reassured and relaxed. I have also been told that I am sharp and brilliant, especially when discussing complex matters, telling a story, juggling with abstract ideas and concepts or listening and understanding people.

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading books - I like pretty much anything but will enjoy especially historical novels, fantasy or science fiction. Storytelling and role-playing with my player's group is a passion, as well as digital photography. Spending some time at my shack at Rawdon to enjoy the calm, nature and the lake. Playing strategy board game or video games with friends. Watching Japanese animation, Hong-Kong flicks or weird movies (from 'City of lost children' to 'Tiger & Dragon', from 'Cyrano de Bergerac' to 'Kill Bill' or 'Spirited Away'... Martial arts and Aïkido. So.. I am a weird mix of intellectual and dreamer, politically and socially active guy in search of a geek-friendly, smart, sharp and sensual woman.

It takes a few dates usually before I am truly relaxed and equal to myself - so if you truly want to get to know who I am, you will need to take your time. My 'type' of woman is usually small and petite woman, although wits and mind is a great deal of what will attract me to someone. But more importantly, someone with real candor, kindness and genuineness will definitely connect with my heart. On the other hand, I am non traditional man and if you usually start your sentences with: "I have no problem with (black/gay/feminists/etc) but..." then there is little chance we will connect: tolerance and understanding is paramount for me.

Although I am opened to a bit of chat or IM, I consider non-verbal to be too important to get to know anyone without actually seeing their smile in person. So, How about a simple coffee downtown, and a lot of talking about a million of interesting topics? One last thing: Don't be surprised if you don't get an answer after writing me 4 words in a single sentence without a verb, such as "yo! how r u?". I am sure you can do better than that.
