Hi everyone :) I'm Jackie. I'm from Northern NJ, but 8 months out of the year I'm a full time student at Boston University where I'm a biology major. I want to pursue a job in zookeeping. This past summer I worked as a keeper at the Bergen County Zoo and loved it. Working with animals is my passion and I plan on turning that interest into a lifelong career. I'm focused and motivated, and have a relatively clear direction that I would like my life to go in. I value honesty more than anything else. I am very logical and analytical, and I have strong opinions. I'm really good at reading people, analyzing situations, and giving my friends level-headed advice. My attention span is about as long as this sentence and I don't take myself too seriously.

I've had more than my fair share of tragic experiences. I'm a bit tainted, or rough around the edges. I've come to value true family, supportive friends, and happy moments.

I like to get out and do things, explore new places, and I'll try anything or go anywhere. I like spontaneity.

My Dad is my hero and my best friend, and has become my standard for guys I date. We're so alike its frightening sometimes, but then I remember the genetic explanation and realize it's not that weird. My goal is to find the second best man in the world.

I'm looking for a guy to prove me wrong. Really. I want a genuine guy. Someone that knows where he's headed and has the ambition to get there. He doesn't have to be the life of the party, but he has to be confident and able to make me laugh. I'd like him to have learned life's lessons through experiences. Someone that understands me and my emotions, respects me, and shares similar interests and opinions. He has to appreciate me and my qualities and smile when he looks at me. And a little facial scruff never hurts.. :)
