Looking for someone who wants to take it slowly, not rush headlong into a relationship... I am interested in meeting intelligent, honest men and getting to know them well before we decide where (if anywhere) to go with a relationship. No games, no drama, NO MARRIED OR INVOLVED MEN. I'm an independent, self supporting woman, not a girl - I realize men my age sometimes prefer a girl - that's fine for them, that's just not me. I am confident and laugh easily. I have two married children, a small circle of friends (both men and women) and value my relationships. I have been separated for over a year, living on my own (with my house dog). I enjoy travel whether driving locally or flying, cruising internationally. I don't watch TV and I enjoy music and reading. I prefer the outdoors and would be just as happy with a backyard bbq as dinner at a five star restaurant am equally comfortable in jeans and formal wear, enjoy camping and five star resorts. If I find the right man I would like to share my life with him and have him open enough to share his with me. If I don't find him, I'm okay with my life as is,I'll be fie on my own. I would prefer being alone to being with the "wrong" man, while I'm not looking for perfection, I don't think anyone should settle for less then they truly want. I prefer a mature man who still has a sense of fun - I'm not including an age preference, years don't always bring maturity!! I don't like NASCAR, flea markets or shopping and I've never seen American Idol, nor do I want to.

I don't drink, so I would prefer a meeting at a coffee shop or grab a couple coffees to go and find somewhere outdoors where we could talk, get to know a little about each other and enjoy the scenery. Dinners or movies? Not at first it’s difficult to concentrate on others while eating or in a theatre (shhhh!)
