I work so I can play, and I think that balance is what keeps me sane most days. I've got great friends and a cute little dog. I love a glass of wine or a beer after a rough day. I enjoy sports, although I can't say I'm an avid fan of any one in particular. I am fiercely loyal to my family, my friends, and my Detroit teams! I'd pick a dive bar over a club and the beach over the mountains, but I'm willing to give anything a shot. Beyond the normal, I have moderately eclectic taste. I've been to 13 different countries and each has taught me something different about the world we live in. I love to travel, try new things, and just experience life.

I spent the past few months pursuing some professional goals. And with my new job, I think I'm off to a pretty good start. Now that I've got my career headed toward where I want it, I'm looking to start my personal life in the same direction. That means finding someone else to share it all with.

I'm looking for a guy I can have a good conversation with and will stay up all night watching old movies. Someone in shape, intelligent, with a great laugh, goals and ambition, and perfect smile. I prefer guys who can clean up well in a nice suit (military uniforms included) and use traditional manners (like opening doors for ladies). Someone who puts a little effort into a date or even a message, but is still completely himself.



I haven't been in the area long, and I'm always interested in meeting new people, so feel free to leave me a message and say hi! Oh, and please do not write in shorthand ("how r u?") it's a pet peeve of mine.

Catch a sports game, couple of beers, and maybe some dancing afterwards. Something casual and fun with plenty of time to chat and get to know each other. Or, my favorite stand by, a sports bar with pool and darts. It's not really a date, per se, for the first meeting, but a "hey nice to meet you in person" type deal.
