I need one of you to hold my interest. Please, please, please make this happen. *ok done venting*
Hey - Thx for checking out my profile. You're here because my pic was good enough, let's see if the rest is.
About me:
Tall, considered good looking by most. I dress well. Smart (3 degrees - psych, 2 philosophy), curious, tenacious and driven yet easy-going and pleasant. I can't really describe myself, maybe I'm lost in my moods who knows.. But in any case, you'll find me very personable, I communicate well with just about anyone.
I've got a good career, I'm mid-level sales management in a national company. I travel alot for work. I enjoy it, I like throwing myself into it.
My interests are listed above, I'm pretty normal for the most part. I do like travel, enjoy playing some sports (hockey), and enjoy movies and reading. In a nutshell, I'm the gold standard for a guy who's got it all together. I even smell good and have nice teeth.
I've invested alot of time into sorting out my ideological framework. I have very well defined and articulated views on the existence of God, metaphysics, and other such things. I believe in a "personal" God who interacts with the lives of humans. I tell people it's not absolutely essential that they share that position, but what I've found is that alot of girls DO care, and the majority I've talked to don't like it, some consider it a deal-breaker. They're concerned about how their kids will be raised, etc. So, please take that into consideration.
About you:
Chemistry and similar values = my last day on POF.
I would prefer local. If I'm blown away by you though I would consider putting some extra mileage on my car if there's a clear, sustainable path forward.
I need to be physically attracted.
I need to feel "comfortable" with you at all times.
You're emotionally available and can communicate feelings easily.
You're not overly sensitive to things and are able to joke around.
You're not a doubter/brooder type that overanalyzes everything to death. You don't miss the forest for the trees.
You share my belief in a personal God, or you are open enough to dating someone who is.
You're actively looking for someone who will be a long-term pillar in your life. I did casual dating in my 20's, I'm in sustainable search mode now. You're not desperate, but you consider it a real priority at this time in your life.
If you have a career, great. You're not consumed by career however (I won't date the "always too busy" types). If you don't have a career, you have a plan for your life and are trying to put it into action. I won't date perpetual students or the clueless.
You speak your mind. In sales we say that a quick "no" is almost as good as a strong opportunity. Find out what you need to know quickly, so nobody's time gets wasted.
I don't really care about your interests/hobbies, so long as we have a natural compatability. If there's chemistry, we will find mutual enjoyment in each others' interests and learn new things.
**** That's it, msg me if you'd like to learn more ****
This section is set apart from the "about me" section. Please check out these links, they have some important stuff in 'em.

***Alex's new (and best) film.*** K.. PLEASE watch this. Even if you just want to have it minimized and listen to it while you multitask, fine - but you need to absorb this. Once you learn the truth, there's no going back.

"Climategate" - lol, it just keeps getting blown wide open.
**P.S.** Yes, I did see Zeitgeist. I watched it a number of times, and also its sequel. Each time I saw it, I disliked it even more. The 2nd part has some truth in it (banking system & new world order), but the assertions it makes about Babylonian/Egyptian mystery school and christianity are not credible and are not treated scholarly. Reminds me of Michael Moore's films - a blend of truths and falsehoods.

**P.P.S.** Get educated about H1N1. 100 people die each day from normal flu in the U.S. alone, is that a pandemic?

Time for a stiff drink!!
“A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.”
– Ted Turner, founder of CNN and major UN donor
“One America burdens the earth much more than twenty Bangladeshes. This is a terrible thing to say in order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say, but it’s just as bad not to say it.”
– Jacques Cousteau, UNESCO Courier
“If I were reincarnated I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.”
– Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, patron of the World Wildlife Fund
“I suspect that eradicating small pox was wrong. It played an important part in balancing ecosystems.”
– John Davis, editor of Earth First! Journal
It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.”

“The only way to get our society to truly change is to frighten people with the possibility of a catastrophe.”

“We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis.”
– David Rockefeller, Club of Rome executive manager
1st date => Let's go for a walk or go for drinks.
P.S. - I don't do speed dating. Conceptually it can be a good way to cycle through people until you find one with chemistry, but I like having an idea about who the person is before I meet them.
