My friends probably describe me as a kind, happy, loyal, down-to-earth woman. I just consider myself to be your average woman who works hard, loves harder and tries to give something special back to the people around her.

I have two wonderful children (one daughter that lives away from home and a son that comes home from college on breaks). But since they aren't around much now, I love spending time with friends, going out to dinner, going to the movies, travelling, going for a walk, drives up the coast, going to the gym and lots of good conversation.

I've always been one to try and keep things simple. Complicated relationships are way too much work. I believe that you know it when you have that special connection with someone, and shouldn't have to work hard to get it.

Weekends in the mountains or time spent on the lake or ocean are more fun for me than fine dining at an expensive restaurant. Great conversation is better in front of a fireplace than at a pricey bar. Dancing in the kitchen should be a daily event!

If I had to describe my "perfect match" he would have a sense of humor, treats his mother well, and isn't too proud to go to the doctor, read a map or stay in a B&B.

I want to grow old with my best friend, having enjoyed many adventures, holidays with grandkids, travel to interesting places, quiet times by the fire, secrets that only we share, and long, long conversations about everything and nothing.
