I am a down to earth good person looking for a great girl to share all the great things in life with. I am very patient and understanding, one who values honesty and the simple pleasures that surround us. I always try to have a great time and stay positive no matter the situation and I know better than to judge a book by it's cover. People say I'm an excellent listener, I try my best to empathize with those who come to me with problems or concerns, and give as much advice that I possibly can to help the situation. I have a great job, extremely challenging but very rewarding. I am always striving for continuous improvement in every aspect, and hopefully someday meet all the goals that I have set for myself. I have several hobbies and other things to keep myself busy, but there seems to be one thing that is missing. I would be greatful to meet someone who is passionate about their career, who would like to vacation, travel and see the rest of the world or at least the rest of the states. Someone whom I can learn from, share great stories, and can bring out the best in me, and of course the other way around. Most importantly, someone who has a good sense of who they are, and a sense of humor, a girl who is comfortable with her flaws and is happy being herself. I am realizing now a days this might be too much to ask for, even from a place called "plenty of fish", but I'm staying optimistic. And I think there are plenty of you out there who feel the same way.

Here are some of the things I like:
-my job
-my family (I was blessed with a great family, very loving and supportive)
-simplicity and integrity
-my friends (we're on softball teams, bowling teams, and chill out on the weekends)
-my pets (though they don't live with me, I try to see them when I can)
-staying active (whether it be golfing or a home improvement project)
-indoor plants (is there at trick to keeping these things alive?)
-the hot sun and blue ocean
-a good live band
-car shows/ drag racing
-a cold pint of Guinness, but I'll settle for a Miller Lite

Some of the things I dislike:
-dishonesty and greed
-stress
-traffic jams
-egotism
-student loans
-moochers
-annoying neighbors

I think the best first dates come unplanned, just don't think too much. Or, if that doesn't work, we can always go golfing!
