I am NOT: as dry as this (list) format makes me seem

I like: books (Tolkien, Rowling, Gaiman, John Hodgman...), music (classic rock, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Shugo Tokumaru, Lemon Demon...), movies (The Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead...), TV (Doctor Who, Futurama, Good Eats...), and vidjagames (mostly strategy--Civilization, Company of Heroes...--but plenty of others, including Zelda, Viewtiful Joe, Final Fantasy, CoD4 and so on...)

But also: green, plants (which are usually green), bonsai (which are always plants... I'm even growing a couple myself--REAL bonsai, not mass-produced stuff that sort of resembles bonsai... but they're still really young), fog, 65-to-75-degree weather, architecture, hugs, most other forms of physical affection, meaningful conversation, trying new foods, and learning new languages (can't say I've mastered any, demo sukoshi Nihongo-ga wakarimasu, e ancora meno Italiano)

I DON'T like: large groups of people, parties, socialism, socialist parties?, country or rap, or small talk

I have: a Rational head, but a Romantic heart

There's not much to do here, so what we DO on a first date doesn't matter if it's with the right person (HINT: the right person does not have children or smoke, and can spell and use punctuation and grammar correctly... i've gotten messages here that i literally could not make any sense of, their english was so bad)
