About Me
Hi there! Well we are approaching the cold drizzly gloomy time of the year (and I am not just referring to the Raiders current woes) so I am looking for someone who might be equally interested in going out places and having fun in spite of this inevitability we are facing!

My Self-Summary
I work in Oakland and exercise alot every day. I run at least 5 miles a day(usually in the morning before work). I go to 24 hour fitness on my way home from work every day as well. I moved here in July of 2008 from central Florida mainly for the Oakland Raiders, but also because its just a much better place here and I love it so much!

Would definitely like to meet a cool chick who wants to have some fun out here...I am naturally inclined to explore when I get to new places, and there seems to be PLENTY to explore out here! I've been spending way too much time busting my hump at work, keeping busy and doing what I can to climb the totem pole...its time for me to get out and meet some people for a good time or two. Hit me up and lets go have some fun! Chicks that like to text to the front of the line (HA I just presumed there would be a line! I promise I am not actually that particular breed of ass).

What I’m doing with my life:
I am an international buyer/planner for a bay area furniture manufacturing company. I have an AA in Political Science, a BS in Technical Management, and a knack for memorizing numbers and making people's heads spin with my mathematical abilities...and I turned that into dealing with furniture factories in Asia and operating logistics software.

I don't know if this job is where I will be staying forever, but I DO know the bay area is where I was meant to be, and I am finally here! I am probably going to shoot for an undergrad degree in Accounting here in Alameda, and then see what I can parlay my job experience into with the help of another degree. This job certainly has the ability to keep me here though...its pretty much the perfect situation.

After 8-10 hours of work, I generally workout 3-4 more hours in the evening. I go to 24 hour fitness by High St in Oakland as well as South Shore here in Alameda, and I walk/run ALOT. At least 5-10 miles a day, and up to 40 on weekends. Been doing some hiking and camping lately, and in the market for a 4x4 jeep to help me repeat events like I recently witnessed on the 4th of July (watching fireworks waaaay below us, in Lake Tahoe @ 10,000 feet)

I’m really good at:
Math, Dance Dance Revolution, any version of Mario Kart, and more adult things like texas holdem, computer repair, and walking extremely long distances. I am good at many other things, but they all sort of come naturally so I can't think of them off hand :) So that's all for the PG-13 things at least!

The first things people usually notice about me:
I am goofy. That has to be the one common theme about me whether you are 6 years old or 65, man or woman, gay straight or bi...single, taken, or some complicated combination of the two. I am generally everybody's favorite goofball when we go out.

Favorites:
Books: Tuesdays With Morrie, The Kite Runner, The Shining, Ultramarathon Man, From the Mixed up Files of Mrs Basil E Frankweiler(kids book lol), "I am America, and So Can You" by Steven Colbert is my next book. I think. I ordered two more on Amazon that may get in the way soon. I only read one at a time but I usually burn through them in a day or three.

Movies: Comedy and suspense are the best. Not together. I love comedies like Talladaga Nights and Blades of Glory...Super Troopers, Club Dread...I also like some romantic comedies (you can't tell me How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days isnt hilarious). I like suspense movies like 23, Signs, The Skeleton Key...I am not into gory horror except for Saw series, and some old strange ones like Sleepaway Camp (what a plot twist in that one!) or weird foreign ones like Old Boy. I would like to meet a chick, friend or otherwise, who appreciates weird potentially lame movies so I can watch them with someone and not worry that they'll be pissed if the movie ends up sucking!

Music: I am an 80's person first and foremost, I listen to 103.7 and KFOG here alot. For new music, I go to 105.3 and 101.3 but as far as one all time best musician...BILLY JOEL baby!! Probably missing the concert :( no interested takers!

Foods: I am the pickiest eater you will ever meet. You will get such a kick out of my food theories and the random qualms I have about certain types of foods and the ridiculous reasons I come up with. I am confident in this because I have been this way forever and people are always fascinated. Italian food is by far the best food, no surprise there!

The six things I could never do without:
My beloved Oakland Raiders!!
My cell phone (I am a texting junkie)
The internet in general (who can leave this off!)
My own place (I was so happy to finally be back to this)
A job that requires thought - makes time fly by
Pasta. I guarantee I eat more pasta in a month than anyone you know does in a year. At 7am, no less!

I spend a lot of time thinking about:
What the best method is to get out of this rut I kinda fell into over the past few months. I have been doing nothing but working hard to get back to feeling NORMAL with a place and a job and all that...and now I am kind of just in this rut because I got there and haven't fallen into a social circle outside of the daily circus at work.

On a typical Friday night I am:
Either at home watching poker, or out at the movies or a restaurant with my one friend from work. She just got laid off though and I am seeing much less of her these days :( so I definitely need to meet people who aren't linked to me by work. Kinda unhealthy to live and breathe work...but it beats unemployment!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here:
I have a tattoo that I regret :) I won't say where or why but I admit I have it. Details later perhaps! If I don't get it transformed into a third Raider tattoo first ;)

First Date
You should message me if:

You are cool, first and foremost. I get along with everybody, but laid back people who like to have fun and don't need to be clubbing and "crunk" to enjoy themselves are most likely to enjoy the sh*tout of my company. Don't get me wrong...going out and partying is great too! But its a MAJOR turn off for me (sexually, mentally, in every way) when somebody shoots down an idea to hang out because they think its not going to be a good enough time for them. Be honest if you hate something and we will avoid it...but seriously I will go out pretty much anywhere and see what kind of fun gets had.

If you like staying in on gloomy/rainy days and watching marathons of things like 24 or LOST...I have the dvds we will require ;) and a 90 inch projection screen to enjoy on.
