I live with 2 kids, 2 cats and a big goofy dog. I'm looking for more in the way of adult conversation than the above usually provide. I've just finished my RN degree after returning to university, and am starting my first nursing job. I lead an active lifestyle but am not particularly athletic. (That means I take the stairs & move all my own heavy furniture, but can't catch a frisbee to save myself). I enjoy music from Mozart to Metallica, and enjoy going to restaurants, movies, window-shopping, & running the dog down in the river valley. I own my own power tools, and love to putter with them when I get the time. I am extremely liberal & open-minded and expect the same in a friend. I read just about anything, non-fiction, sci fi, fantasy (Terry Pratchett anyone?), murder mysteries (my guilty pleasure) and yes, I'll admit the occasional Oprah bookclub selection - but not on purpose.

Fancy coffees to sip as we strolled through the off-leash park down by the river sounds like a great time to me.
