I've been working in public radio off and on since I was fifteen and the cultural aspects must have rubbed off. I very much enjoy opera, ballet, the symphony, art exhibits and the like. I'd like to find someone who enjoys these sorts of things also, or at least could cheerfully tolerate me being the way I am. I'm tempted to say something here about seeking an equal, but I can't think of a reason why a woman who is far too good for me wouldn't also be perfectly acceptable.

Although I genuinely enjoy the cultural pursuits mentioned above, I'm not a complete fool about it, either. I'm generally content doing almost anything in good company and will pretty much eat anything that doesn't eat me first.

I've been working for the last few years as a trial lawyer. It's been helpful to have a real job when dealing with the various expenses of leaving a long-term marriage with a footprint on my rear-end. I'm grossly overpaid, but at least I have a job. I'm still on the radio some while practicing law. You'll know me if you hear me. I'm the only funny guy on public radio. At least I sound funny to me.

I'm not sure I would have asked for that profile review if I'd known it was going to show up here. Now that it's posted before God and man, an otherwise perfectly charming woman I used to date has suggested I should add that I live in a castle and am the heir to some obscure European title. Now it seems to me that saying such things, even when true, is in rather poor taste. On the other hand, if you're one of those women who is far too good for me, but would like to be a Countess...

I like quiet cafe-style places where we can talk and get to know each other.
