About Me
Can anyone really narrow down exactly what they are looking for in a mate? Does anyone really know what they want, 100%, for the future? I believe the answer to these questions is no. Listing qualities you want in a mate only leaves you coming up short-handed later on. When you have a connection with someone you just know it. The trick is to accept and see people for who and what they are.

I am far from a perfect person, and I don't expect my mate to be perfect either. My life is complicated, my thoughts are complicated, and my emotions are complicated. I want someone who can handle that. Imperfection is beauty.

So, instead of writing who I am in a nice neat paragraph, I decided I will make a list of some qualities about myself (inspired in part by the movie High Fidelity). If you see something that resonates with you, send me a message!

+I love being in school, and learning, but I cannot wait to do something in my intended field- I'm very excited about it!
+I am quite the science nerd: I love learning about anything having to do with science, health, medicine, chemistry, biology...etc. I'm fascinated by the human body.
+I'm a vegetarian
+I'm really into holistic healing and contemporary medicine. I want to incorporate that into my career
+I think George W. Bush is a complete retard
+I cannot stand wearing lipstick
+I love vintage and contemporary styled stuff
+I think our country is on waaaaaay too much medication.
+I'm a very free thinker
+I believe age is nothing but a number
+I'm bored with the bar scene
+'Wicked Game' by Chris Isaak is one of my favorite songs (and the video is GORGEOUS!)
+If I could walk around barefoot all the time, I would
+These things annoy me: Bon Jovi, Michael McDonald, Racism, Prejudice, Ignorance, WAR, drama, horrible drivers, not being open-minded, people who push organized religion onto other people, organized religion in general, and the drive-thru window at my place of employment
+I'd rather sit at home watching a good movie, listening to music, or reading a book (with some company, perhaps...), than be out at a bar
+Oh yeah- music is one of my biggest passions in life! I always have it on- no matter what I am doing
+I think kissing can be more passionate than sex
+I don't get why Harry Potter is so popular. It's terribly written.
+I love to dance, dance, dance
+People are always telling me that I should have been alive and kickin in the 70's
+I think intelligence is extremely sexy
+I love children, and want to work with them
+Nicholas Cage has one of the sexiest voices, to me
+I tend to always lose my tube of chapstick
+I believe your intuition NEVER lies to you.
+I don't really drink anymore-I don't like alcohol too much. Though, I love wine.
+I tend to have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor
+I'm really into metaphysics and spirituality
+I'm really outgoing and upfront about things. I don't really beat around the bush
+I have a Batman fetish
+I love stand-up comedy (Lewis Black, George Carlin, Chris Rock)
+I believe EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON
+I'm very passionate about life!

Mia: Don't you hate that?
Vincent: What?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*tin order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the heck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence." -Pulp Fiction

First Date
If there is a connection with the person than a "perfect first date" could be something as simple as sitting on a park bench, in the middle of nowhere, not saying a word, but having the best conversation of your life.

"Dating should be less about matching outward circumstances than meeting your inner necessity."
