I lost my Dad, who was my shining star, a few years ago, but I still have my Mom and she is pretty central to my life even though she lives 1000 miles away. I'm close to my family, and am lacking nothing in my life. HOWEVER, a partner would be awesome. Someone to laugh with, cook with, travel with, and share life's joys and sorrows with.
