Flexible, open-minded, faithful, spontaneous at times (maybe even impulsive), I enjoy living in the present moment. I'm pretty laid back about most things, and I value my serenity.

With an appreciation for beauty in all its forms, I love music, art, books and movies. I like to spend my time in nature when at all possible, as I follow an earth-based religion, but am more spiritual than religious. Camping and float trips take up most of my spring and summer. I love walking with my oldest grandson, kicking through the fallen leaves in the autumn, then piling them up and jumping into them! I enjoy going to the museum and book stores (I read a LOT). I really enjoy good conversation with good company. I like walks in the woods or in the park, or just sitting in my garden and watching my cat chase birds. Sitting in the hot tub and watching the moon come up is also one of my favorite things to do. I also like to shoot some pool occasionally, or go out dancing to R&B or Jazz. My music tastes are pretty rounded, and go from rock (Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Ozzy/Black Sabbath, Tool, Rob Zombie, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, etc.) to David & Steve Gordman.

I try to see the positive in all situations, and like to associate with people of like mind. I'm a very kind person, with a gentle soul but a strong spirit. I'm content with my life, but would like to find a man with whom to share it, in a spirit of mutual honor and respect. I seek a strong, intelligent man to walk by me during the day and lay with me during the night. I'd like someone who shares my interests, if possible, but also realize that people need to have some separate interests. The man I'm looking for will have integrity and is honest and open minded. He will enjoy snuggling on the sofa while watching a good movie, but it really doesn't matter what we're doing as long as we feel good together. I know that love at first sight is a fairy tale (it's usually lust in disguise), and I am willing to put forth the effort and time to help a relationship develop into something solid, with give and take, and room for each other to grow.
