Today I thought I'd bring my profile out of hiding! I have been on here before and realized I wasn't attracting the type of man I was looking for, and began to look inside of myself and realized it was me not them. So after months of evaluation, soul searching and working on MY short comings, I thought it might be time to try again.

I'm not perfect, but I am a caring individual. I try to put my partner first. I love to do just about anything outdoors. Gardening is a passion I have had since I was a youngster. I love to take hikes in the woods. Give me a fishing pole in a quite spot to watch the world around me and I'll be happy as a lark.
I love most music, and love to go see a band play live. I have a couple of teenage boys that play daily in the basement of our house. They have had a couple of gigs around town and have done quite well for their age. I try to support my kids in their activities. My oldest is into football right now, so Friday nights are at the games. My younger one is into rocketry, and travels around the country to launch them.
I love to dance though I'm not very good at it! Since I know this it takes a bit of persuasion to get me out there, or a couple of drinks of bravery!lol I just have never spent much time at a bar or dance floor to learn.
I am a sincere person, and very honest almost to a fault. I tell it as I see it and at times have hurt some feelings. So if you really don't want to know the answer don't ask the question!
I have been told I am very guarded, and put up a wall. I think partly this is my shyness, and once I feel comfortable with the person this disappears. Also I am a very giving person. Unfortunately I have been taken vantage of, so yes, I'm sure I put up a guard. Don't we all after that?
I am 45, and love to stay active. I hate sitting around. I had surgery a while back and it about killed me to rest and watch TV. With 140 channels you'd think something would catch my interest.

First dates I believe should stay simple, lunch, meet for a drink, coffee etc... that way if things don't click we can go our own way, if it does we can always expand the time together.
