I'm from Houston but have lived in Albuquerque, NM since 1981' I just moved back here 12/09, so I'm extremely new to Houston and I hope that Santa brings me a GPS :) I do have an eight year old daughter who is my world but I don't have ex drama issues, we actually get along pretty well, though my daughter still lives in New Mexico, we are very close. My parents raised us not to take people or things for granted; so I try to look for the best in every person or situation whether it be at work, church or at the local Wal-Mart. I do like authentic food, aged wine, good company, laughter and little things in life that people see as being trivial.

My family & friends are pivotal just as it should be; I have a positive outlook on life, a good sense of humor, respectful, and caring; I'm just your ordinary man, one who has good qualities and one of not so good qualities just like any of us. The woman I'm searching for wouldn't be looking for a perfect man, but a man who is perfect just for her.

My interest/hobbies

See those above but I also like reading non-fiction books, along with Men's Health magazine, Men's Fitness magazine and of course the Holy Bible. I enjoy anything outdoors (camping, fishing, hiking, cycling, water sports) etc. As stated I also take special interest in photography, nature and astronomy (not to be confused with astrology). When I'm not out doing all these fun things, I like quiet times at home. Spending quality time around the house is priceless. And I find nothing wrong with sharing a bag of popcorn and cuddling up to watch a good movie. I like em' all (comedy, drama, thriller, action, horror) but who doesn't like a good movie right?
