What's shakin'? My name is Lennon!

I graduated from Mechanical Engineering Technology at Red River College almost three years ago... and I'm only 23! It's crazy how the years are starting to tick away since I started my career with Manitoba Hydro. I hope to make the best out of every year I have. When I look back at my 20's, I want to think of them as some of the best years of my life! So far so good!

I don't think my lifestyle suits the average 23 year old.... I spend most of my time with an older crowd, between co-workers and the guys I ride with. I also spend some of my time with friends from back in the day, and some new friends I've met along the way! But racing is what separates me from the crowd. It is my passion and I am a very proud competitor. You'd understand if you come watch a race next year :)

I like to think I'm different because I don't have any tattoo's piercings, nor do I wear any jewelery. It seems a lot of guys these days are tattoo'd and wear accessories. Not my thing.... I think I bring enough to the table :) That doesn't mean I wouldn't date someone who has tattoo's or piercings... It can be damn sexy if it's not overdone. I find someone attractive when she doesn't HAVE to dress nice up to look good. I like it when she looks good even when she's not trying...

I love motorcycles and surround myself in the culture. I love riding more than anything! It's definitely my thing! I thoroughly enjoy my mechanical engineering profession. I am laid back when it comes to most things, but I'm serious about a few things I do. I'm taking the bull by the horns with new 3D scanning and modeling technology at Hydro, and have won 4 motorcycle roadracing championships in the Manitoba Roadracing Association, recently being crowned the regional title of #1 plate holder for 2010! It's been a goal of mine since I was 11 years old! I wrote about it in my elementary yearbook... and finally won the big one this year!

Competing in triathlons, duathlons, running and mountain bike races definitely satisfies my athletic interest, as well as training for next years racing season!

I like to listen to music quite a bit, and I enjoy playing along with the guitar. I perform well under pressure, so I'd like to play in front of a big crowd at some point in my life, but there are somethings I have a chance to do now that I'll be unable to accomplish later.

I've earned my education, my career, and have accomplished a childhood dream! It's time to start thinking about finding someone that I enjoy spending time with.

I don't really expect too much out of this site, but you never know! It's always nice to get surprised :)
