I enjoy learning something new every day, and am hoping to become acquainted with someone who feels the same way. I love to laugh and to spend time with my niece and my dogs. I put a high premium on honesty, trustworthiness, and thoughtfulness.

I do have some doubts about meeting someone via computer, mostly because people rely so heavily upon the "chemistry" they believe they can gauge from the posted photos (I'm guilty of this too, I'm sure). I, however, believe that there's a certain intellectual chemistry that can't be gauged by only a photo, which makes it difficult to know if someone will be simply attractive, or truly a match. Yet, I know many people that have successfully met their significant other online, so I have hope that it can, and does, happen.
