Hi, I'm back, casting my line into the pond. Is there a fish there for me?

I said dating, as all relationships start with a date and yes, I, too, would eventually like to find someone for long term.

Now about me: just an average baby-boomer woman who enjoys music, reading, cooking, dancing, walking, shopping, driving, movies, fishing. I am a great back seat rider and navigator on motorcycle, I like looking at the scenery.
I enjoy cooking a good meal preferably not alone, it more fun to prepare and share, to dance around the kitchen and laugh lots, even sharing clean up duties can be entertaining.

I am not perfect, just a work in progress like everyone else. I have my good points and my less good points and my faults, and I acknowledge this. I keep working on the less good and the faults,and I know that one day, they will improve. Like I said "a work in progress" I am optimistic (back here again), cheerful, enjoy laughter with others and can laugh at myself, see humour in most situations, serious, classy, happy, loving, caring, sensitive. I am hardworking, but not driven, I enjoy my job.

I have no pets now, have had a cat and dogs, and would love to have pets again. I miss the discipline and pleasure that comes from walking with a dog. Who else gets excited about going out in the rainy, cold, dark evenings.

I love snowstorms, windstorms, the sound of rain on the roof, Christmas music, puppies, children (it is amazing what you can learn from a child), my family.

All relationships take effort and work to keep them healthy, yes, it can be magical, but to keep the magic it requires effort.

On my list of things to do: learn to play golf, read more self help books, try all the recipes for cheesecake, see more of our country, do more stuff.

A first meeting would be before the first date. First meeting should be somewhere we could walk and talk, maybe stopping somewhere for a hot chocolate, a coffee, a glass of wine, a beer.
