Really new in town. I would like to meet a friend first who may want long term later. I'd like to know where to go and what to see and do, both with someone. I like dancing, talking, cooking, sightseeing, meeting and talking to new people. I'm considered pretty by most especially if you're my friend and don't have your glasses on. I like to keep fit and I like to look pretty - I'm a girly girl. I like intelligent, tall men who have a sense of humor or at least look at the world with a bit of amusement. The only thing you don't want to talk about with me is politics (that is an exclamation mark from my friends). I'm opinionated but I recognize that it really doesn't matter. Be honest and be yourself.
Is physical appearance important? It's important to everyone. However when someone becomes my friend the proverbial fairy godmother touches them with her magic wand and instantly charwoman becomes Cinderella and frog becomes prince. Simply put, all my friends are beautiful.

And I am happy to report that I just QUIT SMOKING! Now I can live long enough to find Mr. Perfect!
Just one other thing, I hope you dance. Well, one other thing . . . .I am temporarily out of the country teaching somewhere in the world, again. I will return to Texas in June. So, if it's instant gratification you're looking for, you'll need frequent flyer miles.

A perfect first date would be dancing if we knew each other. If it's that first blind date, a place with an easy escape (smile). I think first dates should be easy on both so walking around and talking would be fine as well as coffee and some time to size each other up. No pressure there! I think after chatting we'd work it out. I don't know San Antonio at all so I would likely leave it up to you.
