Hmmm...where to begin. Well, for starters, my family and friends mean the world to me. I'd do just about anything for them, and I don't know where I'd be without them.

I graduated from Hofstra University in May of 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology, and minors in both Community Health and Sociology...And I graduated from NYU In May of 2008 with my Master's Degree in Social Work...FINALLY...It feels so good to be done with school!!! I'm currently working at an outpatient Mental Health Clinic. I realize that the field I have chosen to go into won't pay much, but it's where my heart is...and I have to follow my heart. Besides, I'd rather love my job and make a decent living then hate what I do and make millions of dollars. And, believe it or not, I actually LOVE my job...which is not something many people can say! I also work as a relief counselor in a community residence for MICA (Mentally Ill Chemical Abusers) clients.

Hmmm, what else...Well, I like all sorts of music, even a little bit of country. I enjoy reading good novels, and, of course, gossip magazines. And, I admit to being a fan of reality TV. When I'm out I can usually be found at the little townie bar up the street hanging out with friends, but I also enjoy movies, concerts, and much more! I love making people laugh,and people who can make me laugh in return...Laughing is my favorite! I enjoy having long conversations. I love to sing, but I'll never let anyone else hear me! I hope to travel more, and I spent a month in Greece a couple of years ago which was absolutely amazing, I can't wait to go back some day. I'd also like to go to Italy some day.

I'm not the type of girl who is impressed by lots of money, expensive cars, or fancy restaurants. In fact, I drive a 94 Toyota Corolla (JEALOUS?), and get upset if chicken fingers aren't on the menu. I'm more impressed by the way you live your life and the way you treat others. I'm not materialistic and I don't shop for labels. I believe everything happens for a reason, even if I don't understand it at the time. I worry a lot about things I have no control over...and I realize that's something I have to work on...but we all have things we need to work on (right?).

I'm loving, caring, honest, and trustworthy, and I hate being lied to (so don't even try it!).

Anyways, there you have it...I think this should give you an idea of what kind of person I am!!!

What am I looking for in a guy??? I'm looking for that special someone to share my life with. Someone to talk to, and someone who can make me laugh. I think a sense of humor is SO important! I want someone who will accept me for me...both the good and the bad. I'm looking for a guy who can also be my best friend, because what I look for in a guy is exactly what I look for in friends; kindness, loyalty, sincerity, honesty, etc. I love people who can make me laugh until my stomach hurts, and I've been told that I'm pretty funny myself. I can be pretty sarcastic at times, but it's all in good fun. I like guys with a great personality and sense of humor, someone who is sociable, and who just loves to have a good time.

Hmmm...first dates are usually awkward enough as it is, so I like to keep it real simple and casual. I think meeting up for coffee or drinks usually makes a good first date, especially when you're just getting to know someone, because it gives you plenty of time to just sit there and talk!
