First, about me ...

I have a mental list of the most important things in life, and here are a few things from that list ...

First, being a good father to my daughters. They are truly the loves of my life.

To be the person I want to be requires honesty and integrity. These are my goals in all my dealings. Simplicity, an uncluttered life, strong focus, and a sense of purpose are all characteristics I pursue for myself.

Creative expression plays a large role in my life. In one way or another, I'm typically knee-deep in some project or scheme that allows me to be expressive, whether that be through writing, playing music, or some other means.


Next, about who I'm interested in ...

First and foremost, she's a friend. As the years go by, finding that elusive "connection" becomes more and more important, and that starts by building an amazing friendship where trust, fun, and mutual admiration are the standard fare.

She knows herself well, and knows what works for her, and what doesn't. On the other hand, her natural curiosity about life and people causes her to be open-minded, willing to learn and adapt.

She makes me laugh. She values other people's time enough to be on time herself. Her profile has no obvious spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors. That's not because I'm looking for an English professor. It's because I'm looking for someone who pays attention to details, and cares about how she presents herself.

And after all that serious-sounding stuff, if you've made it this far and are still reading, then here's the real kicker ... if you can be goofy and nerdy and maybe even a little geeky, you'll pretty much be my hero ;-)
