Allrightie Then... Huge update here... Of all the places...of all the situations...I never would have expected this in a million years. But somehow the winds of change are blowing in my favor. A couple of months ago I met a wonderful guy, and we became good friends, and now we are seeing where things lead. Top it off he likes my kid, and she likes him too, in fact she was bugging me to ask him out for the past month or so. Things have progressed at their own pace and we'll see where they lead. So to all you wonderful fellows out there that are looking for your "one"; she might just be over your head and you can't see her for the confusion. Never discount those that you call friends as they are possibly the beginning of somthing you may want to persue. I am very happy with what I have; and if it continues the way it has up till now, I will be deleting my profile here. So a thank you to all you fellows that have messaged me up to this point, and the wonderful conversations we have had, I wish you all the very best in your fishing and hope for each and every one of you that you find who you are looking for, like I believe I have. Hi, ummm yeah I'm a bit shy at first but I do warm up soon enough. About me? That's why your looking right? Ok, about me, hmmm. Well, I don't toot my own horn very well...lol but then again who does?
I am average build, have the curves in the right places (last time I looked anyhow)...lol I can laugh at myself if I want to, most people think it's just weird, thats all.
I can't sing worth beans, but I will if there is a good tune on the radio, if I know the words or not, then I just make them up as I go along (admit it so do you). Two left feet, but would like to learn to country dance, hopeless I know but here's to hoping. I haven't done much quadding but I do like the outdoors past the point of standard vehicular traffic allowances. I enjoy hunting the 4 legged critters that roam the local undergrowth. I also enjoy fishing, but it's the panfry after that I really like. Camping is something I wish I could do more of, lots more.
I am very much a homebody but I do enjoy going over to friends places or down to the river and having a bit of fun after a long day, I just don't do well in large crowds. I am well past the meat market (bar scene) every friday and saturday. I don't drink much, I prefer the caffine, especially if it is the hot black kind, coffee if you don't understand. So translation to that would be smaller social groups around the fire at the river with coffee and tunes. OH YEAH I do the translating so you don't have to. I have my own woman's manual and I'll let you read the darn thing if it'll help you.

I am rather blunt and I never learned to sugar coat anything, the truth is far more darning than any lie ever will be, so why waste the effort? I like to work hard and I'm now learning to relax, but it's tougher than it looks. I get told to slow down but those lessons are for next week...lol I have a tough time sitting around doing nothing, my hands are almost always doing something.I like to get my hands dirty and I'm not afraid of hard work. Grease is a turn on, as is horsepower. I don't mind mud at all, and well if it gets thrown around by tires or kids that is fine too. I like to keep busy, and have no problems doing just that, there is always something that can be done.
I am looking for the person to walk through life with. Someone who will walk beside me hand in hand, not ahead of me or following behind. Taking life where it leads, be the times easy or hard. I will fight for a good thing. I know there is a fine Gent out there looking to have a partner in life, to go through life with. What am I looking for?? My best friend. The one I can hold hands with in public. The one that gives the kind of hugs that make the world go away for a moment. The one that makes my heart sing, and sigh in contentment. The one that his voice on my ears is the sweetest thing, and kisses that make me melt, make my knees weak. Ok yeah that mushy stuff, ok you get the idea now I hope...One thing you should know is conversation is imperative for me. Even if it is just a couple of minutes a couple of times a week, and a true in depth conversation once a week or so, it goes a long way. And that conversation is with my face, not other body parts...lol unless you want to have my eyes looking at something other than your eyes...
I joined POF because as a single working Mom, I already spend enough time away from my kids as it is. I don't want to make that time any less by going to the bars or singles groups looking for Mr. Right. I can say just as much here as I can in the bar, difference here is you and I both have the ability to maintain a bit of distance, until we choose to meet.
Dreams, well now...I've had a few of those, who hasn't. I would love to travel the continent by motorbike, take a couple of months and just cruise the continent. I would have to get my license first I guess huh?? Crazy I know but it's a dream. I would love to learn how to ballroom dance and country dance but as I mentioned before I have two left feet...any takers? I am a water baby at heart, so a cruise into the warmer waters of the south would be right up my alley too.
I once read a proverb, a long time ago. It read along the lines of " Be careful of what you do to a woman, as God counts her tears. She was created from your rib, to be loved. Not to be Lead through life nor to be Followed through life, but to be held close through life" I still like the proverb and wish I could find it again.
And if you haven't noticed yet, that puddle on the floor is the sarcasm that drips off my left tooth at times. I do try to keep it in check, it get's away on me at times, I'll go grab the mop and bucket. Be right back OK?
