I have been in Charlotte 14 years and love the area. I enjoy genuine conversation over small talk. I enjoy new ideas, people, thoughts, discussions and adventures. I like to think of myself as an optimistic, realist.

He was ready at 8, but now that my son is 15, I’m comfortable with him doing his own thing with his friends. So, my weekends are not as full: camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, amusement parks, etc. The glass is definitely half full. Here is the up-side; it is now time to enjoy those things with someone my own age.

Along with the activities above, how about a day trip to the mountains; getting back into photography; finding a close museum that has an interesting exhibition; a quick trip to the beach.

At night, dinner, a bottle of wine, dancing (I enjoy it, I’m just not that good), a movie, a summer concert, or simply a quite evening on the couch.

I’ll try most anything, once. I find I have to plan ahead more often, but I prefer to pick up and go, and play it by ear. Travel Note: Never arrive in Geneva without a room reservation.
