Divorced, I wanted to get my priorities established before dating.

Becoming single again is a bit overwhelming. I frequently make presentations to both smaller and larger audiences. I can establish a conversation with virtually anlyone. Yet I find it awkward to go beyond just meeting someone to asking them out. I really don't have a good answer as to why.

I am interested to see if this approach yields any meaningful results.

It depends. I would want to plan something consistent with your interests. But most likely it would be something like coffee or lunch . . . that seems to make the first meeting easier.
