About Me
I know a word that rhymes with orange and it's not schmorange. The only problem with finding a rhyme to orange is you can't make a poem out of it unless it's a limmerick and then you need a second word to rhyme with orange.

Finally did the vacation I've been talking about for years. Sat on a beach doing nothing, watched the pelicans dive for fish, waited for the wind to come up and go sailing. By the way, hobie cats are more fun to sail than mono hulls. You can lie down flat and keep on sailing, no having to sit up on the gunwales.

The pictures you see of a relatively deserted beach are real. I was lucky enough to book into a five star resort in Ixtapa, Mexico for the week between two conventions so it was pretty much empty. Apparently, vacations for me involve a great deal of luck and good karma but more stories later.

Sitting beneath palm trees on a deserted beach gives a man plenty of time to think. And I think the reason I suck at relationships (and also how I ended up on this site hoping to find someone) is because I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to relationships. For example: I walk by a flower stall and I think, "Gee, I wish I had someone to surprise with a bouquet of flowers." Or I'm watching a late summer sunset after a rainfall and I think, "I wish I had someone to share this with."

Can you see where all this is going? I'm always thinking about being in a relationship but never gave much thought on how I'm suppose to get into one to begin with.

I saw Halley's Comet when I was 21. Been up to the Andes. Travelled around the world. Tried everything from skydiving to scuba diving. I've been to a lot of places and done a lot of things and now I want to be in a relationship. And a good one at that, I won't settle for mediocre. I suppose it'll be learn as you go with a lot of trial and error.

Ready when you are.

P.S. If you're thinking of criticizing or some other smarmy remark, just remember, you're on this site too! ;)

P.P.S. Thanks to tenreasonsnottodateme for door hinge.

Is it cheating if I rhyme oranges instead of orange?

I know a use for the juice of oranges
It can quiet the squeak of door hinges
The squeak went away for a while
But it came back with style
Now when my dog hears it, he cringes.

First Date
Something simple and pleasant like coffee? Too boring? Well... I've always wanted to try bungee jumping. Then again, maybe things that lead to questions like, "Do you think that's a good idea?" or "Is this going to hurt?" can come later.

Atom Smasher has 2 roses that can be sent.
