Looking for someone who wants to have fun and let things play out naturally. I like the basic things: going out to dinner or a movie or concert or show or a bar to hear a band. I'm sun sensitive; I like the outdoors but need a shady spot to hide. I like to cook, I'm best at Italian and healthy stuff. I enjoy emailing but only as a prelude to meeting in person. I've never been married although I would like to be-- ultimately. Never really pictured going through this world alone. I'm a writer by profession, so I have above-average powers of observation! I love rock and roll as well as most kinds of music (exceptions: modern country, salsa, trans). You get extra points for tall, smart, good listener. I have family in Naples, FL so I spend a lot of time there--would be happy to meet someone in that area, too.

On a first date, depending on how much talking/emailing we've done, I would usually opt for coffee, or a****ail, or lunch/dinner. I like "activity" dates too--sports, hiking, lectures, etc. I will listen to just about any kind of music performed live.
