It's always a challenge trying to compose a profile. I either find myself with nothing to say, or with so much to say that my profile becomes a substitute for NyQuil. And we don't want you falling asleep while you're reading about me, now do we?

So here's the condensed version of my story:

I'm a single dad with two absolutely perfect boys, ages 12 and 15. (Well, ok, maybe they're not perfect - but they are great kids!) I've been divorced for about 8 years. I've dated a little bit since my divorce, but have mainly kept my focus on raising my kids and being here for them. I've put them through cub scouts, swimming lessons, baseball and soccer; and now they both take music lessons. Now that they're a little older, and on the right track to becoming good, honest, responsible adults, I feel more comfortable taking some time out for me.

I'm a network manager for a large health insurance company; and about four years ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to work out of my home. So now I'm here when my kids get home from school, I can start dinner earlier, etc. I love it! My job can be very demanding at times, and working from home has enabled me to keep things pretty well balanced.

When I'm not working or carrying out the many roles of fatherhood, you might find me doing any number of things. I enjoy relaxing on my patio with some music and a fire going. I enjoy going for walks. (It's good "thinking time".) I love to throw frisbee. (I don't know why; it's just one of my favorite things to do outside.) I enjoy bicycling (although I don't get out to do it much anymore), camping, floating, and just hanging out with friends. I love The King of Queens (my second favorite show of all time, after MASH), and also enjoy Two and a Half Men and American Idol. I'm an 80s guy, so occasionally I like to break out those classic 80s movies like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Vacation, Footloose, etc. Now those were some great movies! :)

I'm looking for that special girl that enjoys a playful wrestle to the floor, singing along to the radio (no matter how bad we sound or how much we mess up the words!), and laughing at life's absurdities. Someone who has a passion for life, a dream in her heart, and a never-give-up attitude. A woman who truly enjoys all that life tosses at her - the good times, as well as the many challenges we face.

Bottom Line: I just enjoy life, and I can have a good time doing just about anything. I really believe attitude is everything. And with the right person, everything is that much more enjoyable!
