I love the outdoors and of course the warmer months are the best time to take advantage of that fact. I like walks with my dogs, have a blast playing with my nieces and nephews, and of course a nice picnic with good conversation is always welcome.
I dabble in photography and love to build which is where my woodshop comes in handy. I can whittle a perfectly good oak board down into a toothpick in mere hours.... Okay generally I make cabinets or funiture but if necessary I'm sure I could make a toothpick. ;)
I guess what I'm really looking for is a woman who I can share my life with, someone who I will always be there for and her for me. I'm not sure what life has in store for me but I do know I want someone to experience it all with me.
Here I am a man with a great family and good friends who always seem to be there for me. I have a nice home in the country and a job that I actually like so my life is by know means bad but... I can't help but feel it could be even better if I find the right person to share it with.
I like to laugh and smile and I try to put an equal amount of fun with my life of work, it's always great when I can introduce a little fun into my place of work. (It's not always easy but I have been known to do so.)
An adventurous soul would be to my liking and since I like children, having some around to play with and see the world through their eyes would bring me the moments in life that I can look back on and smile.There are times when I can be daring or bold but I still can't bring myself to go up in front of the church and sing in front of all those people. It's not that I have a bad voice but when it comes to something like that I'm shy to say the least.
I like being outdoors and simple activities like riding a bike or playing a game of miniature golf will keep me happy and occupied. But I also enjoy walks and just talking and laughing along the way. I've even found out recently how much fun it is to ride down the open road on my motorcycle and I think it would be a real adventure taking someone along with me. If you smile a lot and don't mind being carefree now and again you might get along quite well with me.
I'm a romantic and a optimist and I know the right woman is out there for me some where and this just may be where we find each other. I do like to be a little spontaneous because we all like it when a person takes the time to surprise us and do something out of the ordinary. Yes I like a romantic woman too and the thought of sharing my life with her is something I look forward to. I can picture myself going on a walk with her hand in hand now and even when I'm 80. I've learned how to be a fair cook from being single(it was a learn to or starve type of thing) and it's nice to find someone who appreciates my talents in the kitchen as much as in my workshop. I've been blessed with different talents woodworking would have to be my favorite but rather it's building a cabinet with a few oak boards or taking just that right shot of the family outing just as the sun lights up the sky in the background, I am grateful for what I have been given.

What I would do on a date depends on the season. Right now it's summer and being outdoors is always nice so a bike ride with a picnic in the park is something I'd like to try. In the winter a a nice dinner wfollowed with great conversation on a warm couch is my preference. I like staying activer so even a walk through the countryside as the colorful fall leaves swirl around us is the type of date to suit me.
