Do you go through life with a smile, do you try to always keep a sense of humor about you, are you thankful for what you have? Do you love adventure, exploring, traveling, are you up for trying anything? Do you sometimes just like to stay home to relax with a friend?
I am describing myself, but also the person with whom I would like to share.

I would like to share hiking, biking, traveling, dancing, camping, communicating, and many other activities that end in "ing", how about grooving? I like finding things to do in San Francisco, San Jose, and the East Bay like lectures, music, and social & dinner groups. My hobbies are electronics, computers, auto mechanics, and home repair, although that last one isn't as much a hobby as it is a necessity.

Finding friends to share with is essential to enjoying life. Could you use a friend who would be as excited as you in getting together for fun? I cannot overstate how important I feel it is finding friends first, then seeing how the friendship grows. I see people saying "friends first" in looking for someone special, but those words just don't convey how important that function is. One has to believe in it.

More about me. I am an easy-going guy who can find humor in just about anything, you've just got to these days. My humor is more Dry than Slapstick, blame Monty Python, however if you come over some evenings you may find me laughing my a** off while watching "Blind Date" on TV20. I'm a good listener, thoughtful, and perceptive, I've found that I am good at observing all sides of a situation before forming an opinion. I am hard working, and have been in my career for several decades but still I think that I may want to find something more compelling to me. I am adaptable to change.

I'm usually outgoing enough but I know that a date with a total stranger can be sometimes uncomfortable. I belong to various meeting groups that get together for dinners, hiking, or other interests. Doing something active or with a group of people would be great and take the pressure off as well as let us see how we interact with others. One on one meetings are good too!
