(I feel like I’m at a “crossroads” of sorts, in several areas of my life; business interests, hometown, (which coast I'm moving to) romance and I’m even switching/upgrading some of my motorized toys! It’s simultaneously exciting and a little scary. This site is interesting. I suppose it’s a necessary evil; I mean what else are people of our demographic supposed to do to meet their “match”? I was successful in the restaurant/ bar/ nightclub /hospitality industry for a couple decades, and I certainly didn’t want to hang out in bars trying to meet women, and be one of the guys I used to laugh at when I owned the bar! So do we wait for our friends to “fix us up” with someone? No thanks! So here we are on the POF-go-Round! I’m almost embarrassed to even BE on this site, but it is what it is; that “necessary evil" or "a means to an end" so we’d better make the best of it, right?

I'm so tired of dating, I want just ONE great woman for life. Lately I’ve been doing some re-examination of my overall “vibe”. If there’s one word that describes me, it’s probably “competitive”, but not in an unpleasant, overbearing way. I’m competitive with myself, always trying to improve. Some would say I’m my own worst critic, and lately I’ve been trying to become more positive, and banish negative thoughts. It’s refreshing, enlightening, and it’s paying benefits already. I'm looking for a bombshell with brains, depth and substance.. Great sense of humor, great conversationalist, accomplished, confident and well-adjusted, she doesn’t NEED me to “complete” her, rather she WANTS me to “compliment” her life. That’s rare, because in today’s society, it’s “OK” and easy for a bombshell to be profoundly high maintenance, critical, negative, and hard-to-please. I want a woman who’s positive, NOT negative; one who sees the good in situations and sees “the big picture”. My ulra-competitive spirit makes me the BEST man you’ve ever known. Fresh flowers at all times, cool new wines, restaurants, random thoughtful acts… I want to be the man ALL your friends and co-workers are jealous of you for, but happy for you at the same time. I want to be the guy that their boyfriends and husbands roll their eyes over. I know this, I’ve BEEN that guy. I’ve been told that I’m a fabulous kisser, but I can’t take full credit for that, It takes two people to make a great kiss, but I guess I have a natural gentle passion, intensity and talent.

2 people have to absolutely BURN for each other. I want a girl who appreciates a call or a text from me in the middle of the day, just to tell her I was thinking about her and I got a big warm fuzzy, or I drop her off a rose at her office for no reason. I want my heart to skip a beat when I click the garage door opener, see her car and she's beaten me home. I want to experience her on EVERY sensory level: HEAR her heels on the hardwood floor, SMELL her perfume before she enters the room, of course get that tingle when I SEE her turn the corner or when I just look into her eyes across a dinner table, when I drive down the road and I inadvertently TASTE a little of her lipstick from my good-morning kiss...when she reaches over sleepily and TOUCHES my chest in the morning when we both wake up... not too much to ask, is it?

My hobbies revolve largely around engines and speed. Two wheels, four or water. I work out like an animal 6 or 7 days a week, both in my home gym and at a regular gym. 35" waist, 19 inch arms if you're into that, but I WON’T do the shirtless POF-dork photo. I also don’t REQUIRE the woman in my life to be a “gym rat”, but I certainly wouldn’t complain. I’m a fantastic cook, and in my past relationships, I did most if not ALL the cooking. I've been told that the only men who cook as well as me do it for a living; I can roll my own sushi, I’m a Grill-Master, and I LOVE innovative, unconventional recipes. I've been accused once or twice of sounding like a player, but it's just my complete candor. I "shoot from the lip", it's "blurt factor", you'll never wonder what I'm thinking. I know what I like, what I want, what I deserve and what I bring to the table. Add it up and I'm your best option.

Drinks or coffee, depending on the time of day, in a nice, casual, low-pressure setting, maybe some light appetizers... Ceviche is my favorite lately (all 4 locations)
