I started typing all this stuff and then realized I could not possibly put the real me on paper, and rather get to know someone real then just type something up as 1000 others do.

I could tell you this, any relationship I get involved in needs to hold a few key components: TRUST, HONESTY,OPENNESS, & SINCERITY.
I think that is a good starting point.

I think people can feel the connection right away and when you feel it, things just flow and the connection is there, and along comes the laughter and joking, along with that great feelings you get of excitement as we both learn more about each other.

I like to meet for a drink or coffee, maybe take a walk on the beach.
