I am a father first. Raising 2 teenagers alone takes a lot of energy but I will always have energy left for fun with friends.

I drive a pickup so I can haul stuff.
I cut & burn wood for heat because I like to.
I prefer work boots over wingtips, but can wear either one when necessary. I NEVER wear sandals…nuff said
I prefer jeans & a tee shirt over a suit & tie any day and will wear a jacket with jeans when I can get away with it.
I shovel my own snow, I mow my own grass.
I cook, clean house, do laundry & dishes for myself & my kids. (Oh, & it's my house, not my parents basement.)
I pay my bills, on time.
I can fix about anything……or know someone who can
I've never been inside a jail except to bail out a friend. (That's what friends do)
No STD's, DUI's, CSC's, felonies, traffic violations, etc.
No nasty habits, smoking, chewing, (scratching in public), etc.

I enjoy summertime outdoors, but do not like the cold as much. Wintertime is for planning new adventures, wood fires, and hot chocolate.

I've worked for the same organization for 19 years and will be there until they give me a gold watch & tell me to leave. I enjoy my work & have been known to work too much on occasion. (I'm trying to quit doing that)

I have a PLAN. I know what I want to do with my life and the steps that will take me there. Eventually, I'd like to find a special lady to be by my side on this journey. I am very selective so few will qualify, and there is only one opening.

I work at staying fit & appreciate that quality in others. You don't have to be a Barbie doll to contact me, but please be reasonably fit. Life is too short not to have high standards.

Although I'm an old fashioned guy, (I still open doors for ladies) I'm not threatened by a woman who makes the first move. I love women who are confident, yet feminine, without apology. There is nothing more attractive than the glow a woman gets when she has developed deep feelings for a man.

I do what I say I'll do. If I say I'll be somewhere & I don't show up on time.......CALL 911 cause something bad has happened.

If you are the kind of woman that can enhance or be a positive addition to my life, I'd love to hear from you. I may not find you on my own so don't pass up our chance.

A first meeting should be short & simple. I understand a woman's need to be cautious so it should be someplace a woman can feel safe. Maybe a donut shop where all the cops hang out...lol
