About Me
I am basically an easy going person who gets along with almost anyone. I tend to be a bleeding heart at times which borders on being somewhat of a sap. I enjoy reading(philosophy, mysteries, good love stories, human interests, true crime, non-fiction), music of all kinds, dancing, art (although haven't painted/drawn anything recently), tending houseplants, & enjoy gardening. In fact, almost anything may interest me at a given moment. I also do volunteer work every other Monday at the nearby hospital. My interests in people & what makes them tick, makes me a pretty good listener, although I do like to talk when I feel the need & give my opinion when I feel it necessary, can be somewhat of a computer nerd, but not as addictive as I once was. Love good movies such as mysteries, human interests, good love stories, & period pieces. I have one daughter & four grandchildren, who I do not see as often as I would like being they live a distance from me. I am looking for a friend with whom to converse & form a real friendship. Past circumstances in my life have lead me to be somewhat distrustful at times. I have always accepted others at face value treating them as I would like to be treated, however this has lead to disappointment & disillusionment because I have found that others may not always feel this way. It would be nice to find a kind, sincere man with whom to chat, who shares my feelings. Maybe one day, if it is meant to be, a good strong friendship may become an eventual stronger, longer lasting relationship. First Date
Not quite sure what a perfect date for me would be. I guess on a first date, a cup of coffee and talking, getting to know one another would be nice. If I am comfortable with someone, I really enjoy just hanging out with them. I also would enjoy dining out in a nice restaurant, maybe Mexican or Italian food, then see a movie, not choosy. How about walking around sight seeing, or browse a flee market or book store. Dancing and bowling are fun, too.
