Hey all, this profile is a work in progress so bear with me.

A little about me, I'm a single mom who shares custody of a gorgeous 4 year old with my ex-husband. I'm currently working in Queens as an administrative assistant.

I find that internet dating is alot like window shopping but with a very detailed product description in the window. It's a little daunting, knowing there are an infinite number of windows lined up next to yours to compare to. I'm kind of on the fence as to whether or not internet dating is better than the bars. I mean, for one...I'm 36. Most people in bars are in the 20's. BUT...you get that personal interaction front and center, rather than trying to get to know someone thorough IMs and emails. {{sigh}} I don't know. ;)

I love: spending time with my daughter, good times with friends, scrapbooking, dating, shuffling through leaves, surfing the web, digital photography, playing with photoshop, tinkering with web design and anything else that would make the technologically challenged go weak in the knees, when I can't stop laughing about something, when I feel a connection to a person almost instantly and my gut feeling is correct, witty banter, good conversation, good music, good company.

I think it's important to be in touch with your inner child. I think before my daughter was born I just took things (and myself!) way too seriously.

I've recently become a tourist in my own city. So many people come here to visit and live and here I am, lived here all my life and I've barely scratched the surface in experiencing what this city has to offer. I’m definitely working to change that.

Right now, I'm trying to get my ducks in a row. I'm making positive changes in my life, working on the present, moving on from the past and looking towards a fantastic future.

I'm a work in progress for sure.

I’m really good at:

Being a mother, friend and lover. I give 110% to my loved ones. I am loyal and honest to a fault.

Letting my guard down and trusting.

Doing the right thing, whether I like it or not. I have a conscience that screams at me!

Speaking my mind, laying my cards right out on the table.

Being sassy, and sometimes a bit righteous.

Talking about pretty much anything.

Enjoying myself wherever I go.

Clowning around, I've learned to not take myself so seriously.

Remembering what it's like to be a kid and staying in touch with my inner child.

Letting my inhibitions go and just enjoying myself!

Staying optimistic.

Amusing myself and frequently those around me.

Giving advice, but not necessarily listening to my own wisdom.

Showing affection.

Digital photography.

Getting distracted by OKC and Facebook at work.

Basic web design, and tinkering with photoshop.

I'm also a pretty good cook. I make a mean chicken cordon bleu and I love baking from scratch!

I'm sure there's more that I'm good at but that's all I can think of at the moment.

Rockin out but I can't carry a tune in a shopping bag. ;)

TV Shows: Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Supernanny, SYTYCD, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Sanctuary, soaps, reality tv.

I'm also a fan of stand up comedy...the likes of Margaret Cho, Eddie Izzard, Chris Rock, others...I laugh pretty easily. =)

Books/ Magazines: Mostly magazines, Real Simple, Scrapbooking Magazine, Us Magazine, Soap Opera Digest, Star Wars continuation novels, same with SG-1.

Food: Mostly Italian and American cuisine.

I spend alot of time thinking about: The present and what changes in my life I can make right now. Bettering myself and working towards goals. They're getting closer and closer to being achieved every single day.

The future. Getting my life back on track and improving myself. Giving my daughter opportunities I didn't have growing up. Going back to school sometime for early childhood education.

I also find myself thinking alot about dating and finding someone to spend time with and get to know.
