My name is Melissa. I am a very passionate and dedicated school teacher and I love my job. When not working, I love listening to music and going to concerts. My favorites are the Dave Matthews Band and Led Zeppelin. I love reading books and magazines. During the summer you can usually find me at the beach. I love going to Atlantic City with friends to dance and hang out. I also love vegging on the couch watching a good movie as well.

I recently purchased a condo. I am very independent.

I love watching/going to sporting events (love my Philly teams)!!! During football season, you can always find me watching all the football games all day long.

I like going out to bars occasionally...mainly to check out local bands or to just sit and have a few drinks with friends.

I am a hopeless romantic type of girl who is searching for her Lloyd Dobbler (John Cusack from "Say Anything") who will hold up his boombox outside my bedroom window playing our "In Your Eyes." Hopefully there is somewhere out there who is not affraid to be a cheesy romantic with me and have fun all at the same time.

First date....probably dinner would be nice. But I'm usually up for anything...go out for coffee or a drink, the boardwalk, beach. Not much of a fan of going to the movies on a first date. You can't really get to know a person when you are both sitting there silent staring at the big screen.
