It's funny that some people write, "If you don't know the difference between your and you're, please don't bother contacting me," and continue writing their profiles with spelling and grammatical blunders. Equally funny are those who say, "If you don't have a recent photo, please don't bother contacting me," and then describe themselves as athletic/fit or lean/slender. I find myself doing a double take and asking, "Oh really?" It begs the question whether we should be so judgmental. We're all here for the same reason. Meet, then decide if you'd like to see that person again. By the way, if you think I should have spelled judgmental with an 'e', please... contact me anyway! Oh, that formal versus casual wear thing that everyone talks about? I am equally comfortable in my birthday suit as I am without any clothes on, HA! I will end with a quote I try to live by:

I love eyes that sparkle and dance; even while submerged in the stillness of a photograph. I would like to meet someone who leads an active lifestyle. She should be fit, fun, intelligent, and have focus in her life. Most importantly, she should have a warm and caring heart; things seem to fall into place from there.

While I am constantly amazed by the animosity that abounds in the singles scene, I am even more amazed by the person who maintains a sense of dignity in the face of such belligerence; much like a flower that blooms in spite of the weeds which surround it. Suffice it to say that a little kindness goes a long way.
