First Date
My personality is calm, intelligent/insightful, relatively educated, kind and fun loving. I have a very giving nature when it comes to my family and friends but suffer no fools and see straight through to what drives someone. I love to have a good time and be spontaneous but never at the expense of my responsibilities. I do believe in taking care of business before pleasure. I have no children. I really enjoy road trips, and make time at least two or three times a year for a legitimate road trip. I love to ski, although I'm not very proficient and stay on the beginner runs, and even then suffer the occasional unintentional cartwheel. I used to be an avid mountain climber but haven't been for quite a while as I do not have a partner and would never go alone due to the safety risks. I love the city and the country but detest the suburbs! I enjoy cooking, Saturday Markets, etc. Things that don't interest me are people who "party" all the time, bars, watching sports on TV (although I can watch a football game or a golf tournament if it's a really boring Sunday), commitmentphobes, or over zealous people, that kind of stuff. Politically I lean left; I am spiritual but not religious, and not interested in a regular church goer as I will never be that (I grew up Roman Catholic and attended Catholic grade school...need I say more!). I don't push my beliefs on others and I don't want anyone trying to push theirs onto me.
