I like to always be working on the edge of my abilities and learning new things. I'm self-taught at a lot of things from guitar playing and juggling to computer programming, graphic design, and photography.

I self-published a pet magazine for a decade. There were always new things to work on: photography, design, marketing, writing (both humor and serious), editing, web design, publishing books, etc. I liked the variety and keeping myself on the edge.

I've also been a video game programmer and a modeling studio photographer. Whatever skills I need, I develop.

I like animals with fur - cats, dogs, etc.
I like walking around amusement parks, but I'm also happy just walking around a mall. Any place with bright lights and colors.

I like marzipan, pizza, things that are shiny, and good comedy.


I'm not a health nut that will drive you crazy, but I do try to take good care of myself -- lift weights several times a week, other exercise, etc.

I'm good at cooking -- within the realm of foods I enjoy.
I'm great at baking cookies (but don't do that very often anymore).

I like browsing in book stores. I'm happy to read anything I can learn from -- but if it's a topic that's important to me I like to own the book. (I have a very large book collection.)

I try to get in a long walk most days to "wind down."

My favorite part of Long Island is Jones Beach. Both daytime and nighttime.

I'm not interested in camping, hunting, or fishing.
Also not interested in watching football, baseball, or hockey.
I prefer doing things over watching other people do things.

I'm divorced. It seems that this site lumps divorced in with things like separated or married -- as far as the world is concerned, I'm single.
