insight into my life:
every year my brothers and i grow moustaches for christmas. we laugh every time we look at each other, and it ruins family photos and drives my grandmother nuts. we tear up the holidays, and make so much trouble that we've been booted from the house... so we now have to build a snowfort every year to retire to once everyone else has gone to sleep.
a dream come true for most, i'm sure... let's just say i haven't lost my inner child, nor do i plan to anytime soon.
unfortunately, now that moustaches are cool again, we may have to rethink new ways to look stupid. crap.

me:
i could be a bit of an instigator, at times.
i make all sorts of stuff, and think that handmade items are best.
i knit, crochet, make baskets and make clothing. i do metalwork, woodwork, crafts of all kinds, and am a teacher.
i read a lot. non fiction.
i like all kinds of music, but i don't really define myself by it.
i like hanging out with kids and small children. they seem to have a better perspective on what is important than most adults i meet. and they are way funnier.

you: in order to survive me, my family, and friends, you'll need a good sense of humour. you'll probably also have to be pretty open minded. you like being active and doing things. the environment and outdoors will probably be of interest to you, and you like the idea of making choices based upon your belief system... which means you should probably believe in something (read: this is not implying religious beliefs, but a commitment to something other than your 17 favourite TV shows at the moment). other than that... who knows?! just be nice and we'll get along fine.

Meeting up for a quick walk in the park or coffee/drink of choice. I don't want to go on a DATE with someone until after I've met them, and found out if all the e-hype plays out in reality.
