About Me
I'm a steel worker who is going to University to study English. I have no intention of stopping short of a PhD. I like lively discussion with someone who can disagree and (this is the tricky part for most) tell me why. At times I am the coarsest steel worker you can conceive of, and other times the most high-minded intellectual. I work hard. I play hard. My charm takes a while to grow on people, but the people who take the time to know me invariably develop a strong loyalty to me which I reciprocate. I used to be a soldier when I was younger (GO INFANTRY!) but now I'm older, wiser, and more judicious about the use of violence or even raised voices. Your government trusted me to wield explosives and assault weapons, and I never messed up with 'em, so you can trust me with your heart. I assure you I'm as soft inside as you, even if I go to great lengths to conceal it.
WORD OF WARNING: I have a system of reason in my mind which all facts are run through. It makes my faith in my judgement absolute. The only way to change my mind is to actually present new facts. eg: "Disagreement with me on [insert issue here] will result in no lovin', and that's a fact."
That would work. The system still has some glitches.
Also, my friends, and their parents, and my boss, and pretty much everyone I know, calls me Pube. If you can handle that, then this could work. I often joke that I can tell who I will be friends with based entirely on their reaction to my introduction as Pube... Or Pubert... Puberto, for the latin folk... :)
First Date
I figure a dinner and some wobbly-pops would be fine, but if my paramour would like more we could hit a symphony or a movie. If there's anything you prefer to do: communicate. Isn't that the new age relationship paradigm?
