My friends are telling me I need to get out... The online thing beats the hell out the bar scene. I am looking for long-term, but dating first. I am not interested in being a serial dater.
I am a short, sometimes energetic/sometimes chill, curvy, perfectly imperfect closet nerd. I have an 8lb dog, 2 cats, a large aquarium, a purple car, seven tattoos & an eyebrow piercing.
Here is the rundown on the misconceptions about my tatts and piercing, etc:
I'm not into swinging, porn, online chat, or casual encounters (but don't think I'm not fun- with whom I choose to be, I AM fun!)
I am smart
I smoke cigarettes, but plan to be smoke-free by years end
I don't do drugs- nope-not even weed (Bob Marley tattoo)
Love to get together with friends or go have some beers and shoot pool, but I'm a homebody and very family/couple oriented
My 2 boys think I'm a cool mom, but I think I'm kind of dorky (watching Karate Kid II as I write this). Love writing, volunteering and football. I hear a woman who loves football is a major score...lol
I'm spiritual live-and-let-live, one day at a time, peaceful, non-drama- though I'm a hardcore southern Democrat. I'm traditional, yet very now. I love a gentleman, but I am also independent. I am strong, but raised a southern girl...I have manners, and you can pretty much take me anywhere. I love to laugh and smile and am pretty happy- sometimes silly. I don't hold grudges, believe forgiveness is important for my own serenity and I really love being in love. I'll go to the ends of the Earth for a man who will do the same for me, and I am the fiercest protector of those I love.
A man doesn't need to be my twin- no 'yes' men, please. I require honesty-even if the truth hurts. I live by "Say what you mean, mean what you say, but don't say it mean". Respect is vital. Masculine but sensitive, sweet but strong, spontaneous but stable...make a decision, lead, but takes others' feelings and opinions into consideration. There's a fine line between strong and controlling...
Footnote...if I can get a back and/or foot massage I will pretty much follow you anywhere...

Did I mention patient? I am very involved in youth football, and I work a lot, so I am pretty busy this time of year. A great Sunday date during NFL season could definately involve a football game!
