I noticed that when browsing these profiles you only get the first line or two so I thought I might as well put that out there first!!..lol..Seriously, I am 39 years old and am a very caring, loving and compassionate woman. I believe a great relationship is all about communication and without honest sharing and trust there isn't much to build on. I am very playful and love men who are not so ego driven that they cant laugh at themselves.Life is too short to be so serious all the time. I am a very driven and independent woman. My career is very important to me and I have worked really hard to get where I am. I could go on forever about my best qualities...personally, I think I am a pretty kewl person to hang out with. I am health conscious and one heck of a cook!! I love being outdoors and love to go camping, white water rafting and hiking. I love independent films, subtitled films and am somewhat of a coffee nut!! I am not looking to jump in2 a long term relationship. That takes time and I really need a guy who can respect my time at work and with my children. Romantic relationships must be grown and cultivated not jumped in2 because of loneliness. I am not lonely and I am not needy but I do miss having someone that makes my tummy do flips.

Like I said, I feel you must be a good communicator and emotionally available. I like intelligent men who I can sit up with, all night long, expounding on life but at the same time someone I am just as comfy curling up on the sofa with, not saying a word and it be completely OK. I am looking for my best friend first, partner second. You really cant have one without the other if you expect it to last.

Wow a first date....that's an easy one...first dates should be simple and all about getting to know the person you are with so movies are definitely out....I think a first date should be simple and really laid back...maybe a cup of coffee at a local coffee house.This is the date that defines whether or not you have enough in common for date 2 so getting to know each other and talking is a must.
