Hello ladies! I have never been much on meeting dates at the bar so here I am on POF! About me: Im very easy to get along with I would say, like everyone I have my certain quirks.

Im a very good listener and talker, I could even go as far to say im charismatic, however im very shy at first until im comfortable with you. Intelligent, funny, emotional, passionate, attention giving, willing to try anything new once, cautious, precise, , modest, inventive, problem solver, impulsive, candid, scientific, curious, empathetic, inquisitive, sarcastic, well spoken, intelligent, believe I can do anything, tactful, relaxed, cool under pressure, a leader; good or bad these are all words that describe my personality just a little. There are alot of positives and negatives there, basically I can be your rock, and even show little emotion at times, but im good, if not too good at hiding my sensitive side. Sometimes its impossible, and ive always found it inconvenient at times, necessary at other times. If you want to know more you will have to have to ask me!

Music is a big part of my life, I would say my likes dislikes change with the season. Currently some of my favorite music is Nirvana, and all other classic/alt. rock. However, I also listen to R&B, old school, 80's, rap, ,reggae, even country at times. I like to appreciate the message, and the musical skill of the artists. It so happens most of my favorite artists are no longer with us. I have an interest in learning to play the guitar, that is my next big hobby project.

I do have one little boy that I love with all of my heart, im very passionate about my job and anything that I try.

Some of the things that turn me on (not sexually cmon im a gentleman!): Intelligence/knowledge/wisdom and the pursuit thereof, passion for life, street smarts, good personal hygiene, females that arent afraid to get dirty, independance, great conversation! Turn offs: Only thing you have to say is about you, people that cant stop talking about ex's, anybody that has a kid and doesnt take care of him/her, bad hygiene (eww), anything that resembles the words "I love you" on a third date, too much pride to admit your wrong, people that are only into money and materialistic, little or no drive to better yourself, not hungry for knowledge even at the cost of looking naive, people that are just rude! Anyway hopefully I will meet some interesting people here, talk to you soon!

First dates are nerve racking (at least for me), especially if its from an online dating service. I think the best thing is something comfortable for us both, cafe, the beach, the park, driving around and talking. If I cant hold a conversation with you for at least an hour, Its a pretty good sign we arent clicking. I think dinner is a little too formal for date#1, and a movie or anything loud is probably the worst. Let me get to know you and its game on, im willing to try any activity you think is fun, sky is the limit. Ive went too many years not having fun to sit back and be bored to death and grow old. There is more to life than watching TV, in fact it can be poison. Recently ive decided to get myself out of the rut and start enjoying life, you only get one life to live at a time after all. Yes im shy, but im learning to not care what other people think and go ahead and have fun, I cant really dance but im willing to look stupid and learn! LOL
