My name is Richard. My friends might say that I am a good listener. Some people say that I seem modest at first glance, given my height. I tend to do more listening than talking to people that I have just met. So that is probably why I seem quiet.

I think that I have a good, perhaps a somewhat sarcastic, sense of humor. But I can take a joke; however, I tend not to make very many jokes until I know how far I can go with them. Kinds of jokes you may have to take with a grain of salt, there's never any ill intent behind the jokes I make. What can I say? It's the kind of humor one develops growing up with only brothers and being brought up on shows like Married with Children, Roseanne, The Simpsons ect... So that may be why I seem quiet at first, heh.

I'd say I am a pretty big Mixed Martial Arts fan, I never miss a UFC event. One of the few sports I enjoy watching. I was an avid paintball player not too long ago, but it's cost and travel time started to take away from some of the fun.

My taste in music? A few of my favorite bands would have to be The Tragically Hip (They're awesome), Matthew Good/Band, Foo Fighters and Rage Against The Machine(They just kick ass) those would have to be at the top of the list. But I can listen to just about anything. I don't think I dislike any particular genre, as there are always exceptions to the rule.

Television? Is there possibly a better show than House? I don't think so. Hugh Laurie rules. Dexter is also one of my favorites. Awesome show. And I don't think I can make it though the day without making at least one Seinfeld and Simpsons reference. And who doesn't like one form of CSI or another?

I am not really into the bar scene, it isn't my favorite situation but it isn't my least favorite either. With the right person or friends any situation can work. I'd probably prefer to spend time out doing something or with a rented movie, go out and see one, or at a coffee shop, or... Well, you get the idea.

Obviously I am looking to meet new people. I figured the interweb was a good, or at lease the easiest, place to start. Not sure what else to say. If you have questions feel free to ask.
