Some things about me: I moved to Toronto almost 5 yrs ago to pursue another degree at U of T. I graduated 3 years ago from nursing & work in a busy downtown hospital (no I don't wear the white dress or give sponge baths...). I have just started working in the Critical Care area and it may seem strange but I love my job even more than I did before. Yes this is true, even with all the stressful moments! After spending many hours in the hospital I look forward to my time off to explore new things happening in the city & having a good time with friends. If you were to ask my friends about me they would describe me as compassionate, giving, intelligent, independent, funny, stubborn at times, thoughtful, & a great cook.

Some of my favourite things: the company of family & friends, being active - especially outdoors, cooking, pasta (I think I was Italian in my past life!), candy, long hot showers, traveling & exploring new places, reading, volunteering, comedies, my cat (who thinks he is a dog), cleaning, & cuddling.

Some of my not so favourite things: smoking, intolerance, ignorance, racism, sci-fi movies, drivers who don't share the road with bikers, seafood (allergies get in the way), & good-byes.

What I am looking for someone who: has a good head on their shoulders - intelligent but not dull; has a good sense of humour & can make me smile, but is serious when necessary; is physically active, but not obsessed with working out; is caring & generous; & has some idea of where they are going in life. Physically I am looking for someone who is tall (at least 6' - sorry guys, I am 5'10" & like to wear heels on occasion), relatively fit, & has a nice smile.
