I prefer a casual lifestyle (don't get between me and my jeans and tennys!). Less is more for me. I usually try to eat healthy and avoid junk food, but have an average figure - with some extra padding (honest assessment, I hope) My grandma once told me I should be a leg model - love you, Nonnie! I’m probably built more for comfort than for speed. Umm, did I mention ethnic foods? :- )

I enjoy too many things to mention (indoor and outdoor), but lean more toward casual, outdoorsy activities vs crowded downtown venues. I'm really most comfortable in small groups, rather than crowds. I can have a good time doing most anything... laughing comes easy.

I'm a soft touch for furry and feathered creatures (I have a big "S" on my forehead. You can decide what it stands for) and I love most things outdoors, including the dusky smell of dairy and horse barns. (Comes from spending my formative years on a farm and being dragged across pastures by various beasts.) If you are a pet lover, you'll understand how important mine are to me.

I wouldn't be good at living in a subdivision...I prefer to live in a country-ish environment. How about a couple of chickens for fresh eggs??

I enjoy working on my yard and home and I’m handy with lots of tools. My favorite places are Home Depot and Harbor Freight.

I believe life is better when shared. A little kindness, consideration and respect goes a long way toward achieving a great relationship. I'm a capable woman, but I love old fashioned chivalry from a man and like to feel safe in his company.

I'd love for you to be casual and easy going, non-critical and good-natured. You know, the type who would stop to pick up an injured bird or help an old lady across the street.

You would see the humor in silly things and can laugh at yourself (Good natured bantering is typical with me), be affectionate and a lover of family and animals and believe (as I do) that two sets of hands make any job easier. It would be natural for us to help each other, regardless of what needs doing.

I used to invest in real estate and would love it if my ultimate partner also enjoyed pursuing this as a way to make fun money for our retirement.

Sometimes, the greatest journey begins with the distance between two people, yes? We didn't grow into this place in our lives together, so to expect the perfection we wanted in our 20’s isn’t realistic.
