I just realized that my user name, to some people, can sound like I am looking for something ... how do you say ... sexual. This can't be any further from the truth.

I am looking to meet some new people in or out of the local area, and to make some new friends. One can never have enough friends, right? I do not have a certain 'type' of person I am looking to make friends with, I am not shallow.

I work full time (and than some) in construction. (There are more of us that you would think!) If there is anything you wanna know just ask! I am open to questions. :)

There are to many things to factor in when thinking of a first date, but by that point we have an actual date, we would have met already and gotten to know each other. So it would depend on things like what we have in common, the weather, our moods, etc.

That said, my idea of a good first date that we can build on, is grab a bite to eat, than head for a walk or a drive. After that, we'll find a pub and maybe have a beer or 2.

I do not like the idea of going to see a movie on the first date because you can't get to know each other without everyone turning around and "SHHHHHHH'ing" you.
