What I'm looking for in a relationship - love, intimacy, stimulating conversation, intellectual and emotional maturity, kindness, playfullness and passion. It's achievable only if both people are willing to give it their all.

A little about me. I have a passion for life, have many interests. I'm a lover of the arts and nature, an artist at heart but only a novice in reality - at painting and stone sculpting. I'm independent, open-minded, the one who broke free of tradition in my Greek family. A man I once dated was giving advise to his son about women, suggested he find someone like me, compared me to a fine foreign car - low maintenance and good quality. I took it as a compliment.

I enjoy traveling to different countries, to walk the land, experience the culture, and connect with the people.

My most favorite trip was to Greece, which is also my heritage, where I loved visiting the ancient sites, enjoyed great food, wine and danced outdoors under the stars overlooking the Parthenon. I like the European lifestyle, they find more time to enjoy life and work less.

Travelling to Africa, I studied with a native healer and lived with his family of ten children. Since there was little room in the house, I slept outside under a gazebo. The spirit of the land and the heart of the people touched me deeply and the trip was a catalyst for life change. I moved out of the city to Aurora.

A poem from one of my favourite poets, Rumi - a Sufi master:

"Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find
all the barriers within yourself
that you have built against it."

I choose to live north of the city to be closer to nature, a bit quieter, yet still love all that the city has to offer, I enjoy both worlds.

Life is good but would be richer with that special person to share it with.
